Facebook Open Registration Tonight, Get Your Name!
I typically write somewhat longer posts with more “guts” to them but this is something I thought I should put out there in case anyone isn’t aware of it yet. Tonight at midnight EST facebook will be opening up registrations to secure your domain such as facebook.com/bob
What does this mean and why is this important? Well its simple, whether you use your facebook account for friends and family or to market yourself or your business, having an easy to remember url is crucial. Facebook also ranks very very well in the search engines, so having something like facebook.com/warmapplepie would rank very well for the term warm apple pie when searched for. SO anyhow, I won’t ramble on endlessly about this but if you use facebook as part of your Internet marketing strategy, don’t miss out on this opportunity.
Go to facebook.com/username to watch the countdown Good Luck!
