Your main point goes here, it should be short, to the point and enticing.
“Catch Their Attention, You Have 30 Seconds To Do It”
Additional points and a brief emotional capture statement should go here. The is the “I have their interest now I need to make them want to read more” paragraph.
Why should they keep reading, draw them in.
This is your initial paragraph that starts to tell what you have to offer, why they need it and how it can fulfill the “need” that your potential customer has, remember people want to find something that fixes a problem, provides an answer or solves a dilemma that they have at that exact moment in time. Including a pleasing image about now can also be a good idea.
In order for a sales page to be effective and convert well it must accomplish many things for many different types of people. It is critical to understand that there are 4 “personalities” that you must cater to equally, all the while being cautious not to alienate the other 3 that you are not directly targeting at that moment. This is a touchy area and one that psychologists have studied for many years. If you wonder why people will pay thousands of dollars for a professionally written sales copy, this is why. As a teaser, the four main personality types that you need to cater to consist of the following:
Just who are your potential customers?
- Dominant – Outgoing and Task Oriented; 10% of the population
- Inspiring – Outgoing and People Oriented; 25-30% of the population
- Supportive – Reserved and People Oriented; 30-35% of the population
- Cautious – Reserved and Task Oriented; 20-25% of the population
This is a good place for testimonials that appeal to all 4 types:
Type 1 – Dominant
This system kicks ass, as of yesterday afternoon I couldn’t even turn on a computer, I had to have my brother Earl do it for me. Now today I just gots my first commission check for $12.00, once we get the pick up started we will head over to the Wal-Mart and cash that check, and I will finally be able to afford to take my girl and her 12 kids to McDonalds and this time EVERYONE gets something from the dollar menu.

Type 2 – Inspiring
I learned the heard way, after being beaten more times than I can count I found solace in the fact that I CAN take control of my own destiny, by simply following your easy to track 12 step program I went from crying myself to sleep at night to just knowing that I am good enough, smart enough and gosh darn it people like me. Thank you for changing my life forever.

Type 3 – Supportive
I’m just a simple librarian, I’m so happy with the results I have obtained from this easy to follow 12 step program I just can’t say it enough. I know if I can do it, anyone can. I recommend that anyone out there reading this try it, you will succeed, I know you can!
~ Eugene the librarian
Type 4 – Cautious
The last time I signed up for a program like this was back in 1987 when Bon Jovi tried to market a line of hair care products for men who wished they were women. I really got burned on that one, so ever since I have been really careful about who I associate myself with. After following this easy plan I can honestly say I have found a new motivation in life, I feel successful again and who knows, If I keep making $$ like this I just might be able to afford to move out of my moms basement one day, if I can just build up the courage to go outside.. Thank you.
