Win cold hard cash by commenting on my blog

Hello everyone and welcome to the first of many contest that I plan on having here, the concept behind this is simple.

  1. Sign up for my newsletter by submitting your email address in the form on the top right of my home page (and confirming your email address)
  2. Comment on my blog with useful commentary that adds to the discussion and I will give you one entry for each approved comment between now and midnight April 30th, 2009.
  3. One lucky winner will receive their choice of $25 via PayPal or a month long 125×125 ad spot in my sidebar on this site.
  4. The drawing that will be held on May 1st, 2009. To win, get your name drawn and be on my newsletter list when I check and you get paid.

Again, one entry into a random drawing for each approved comment you make that makes sense (I reserve the right to spam-can any crap comments as I see fit ;-) So, don’t expect me to approve thing like “yeah, I agree” or “sure” or “dude” or “great idea” or “yes” or “hi honey, I’m home” or my favorite “uhhh, have you seen my baseball?” Based upon the success of this initial contest I will determine the rate at which the prizes will get sweeter for coming drawings, so get on board and who knows, maybe one day I will be giving away a new car, or perhaps even a gift certificate to McDonalds for a Happy Meal…

    • Sorry, you were just a couple hours late.. I will be having more contests in the future though, with different ways to enter as well as different/more exciting prizes :-)

      Also, as a reminder to some.. One of the requirements was to post a useful comment… The goal of this contest was to encourage individuals to post something with substance, so any posts that are “hi, thanks” or anything else without substance will not be counted.
